Abstract

The present study reports two new records of Gobioid species: Oxyurichthys paulae from the east coast of India and Yongeichthys audax from the Odisha coast for the first time. These two species were collected from the Bahuda estuary, the southernmost estuary of the Odisha coast. The study also generates the COI gene data for the species Yongeichthys audax of the currently examined specimen from the Bahuda estuary.
