Two heterocyclic Schiff bases (named- CO, HO) developed from 2-amino benzoxazole and 2-chloro or 2-hydroxy acetophenone and next, these used for complexation with CuCl2.2H2O salt to prepare Schiff base metal complexes via thermal reflux method. Molar conductivity measurement, magnetic moment determination, spectral techniques including FTIR, proton NMR and mass spectrometry, utilized for further characterization of synthesized compounds. Biological assessment was carried out employing agar well diffusion process to check the bio-efficacy of synthesized compounds against selected microbes- E. coli and B. subtilis (bacteria),C.albicans (fungus). The findings concluded that ligand CO has more potential in all of synthesized compounds.
