More than 70% yields of some aryl sulfonamides were synthesised using ultrasound assisted condensation of aryl sulfonyl chloride and aryl amines in the presence of Ferric Chloride-Bentonite under ethanol medium. Synthesised sulfonamides were characterized by their physical constants and infrared and NMR spectroscopic data. In this synthetic method, the effect of catalyst and solvents on the yields were studied. The molecular docking analysis of these sulfonamides were investigated by finding protein-ligand interaction ad binding affinities. Antimicrobial activities of these sulfonamides were studied against their microbes.
