Digital education has brought about numerous opportunities for students and educators alike, but it has also brought challenges regarding copyright laws. This article discusses the challenges of navigating copyright laws in the digital age, including determining fair use and enforcing copyright laws online. The negative impacts of copyright infringement on the educational community, such as limiting access to educational materials and discouraging innovation and collaboration, are also explored. On the other hand, digital education presents opportunities such as promoting open educational resources, enabling lifelong learning, and breaking down geographic and financial barriers to education. Different approaches to addressing the challenges of copyright and digital education, including developing new copyright laws or policies, promoting open educational resources, or using technology to track and enforce copyright laws, are discussed. The future of copyright and digital education is uncertain, but stakeholders must work together to find solutions that balance the needs of copyright owners and the educational community.
