Scientoons: The Comic Relief in the COVID-19 Science Saga!

Abstract

Communicating Science in the common language has always been a challenging task for science communicators. Scientoons are one of those mediums of science communication, which make people aware of the difficult facts of science by cartoons. Especially in pandemics, very recently in Covid-19 case, scientoons are used as a medium of communication to spread awareness. This paper discusses the importance of scientoons and new scientoons related to Covid-19 pandemic have been created to develop the awareness about Covid-19 and future pandemic among the general public. Here, we have drawn new scientoons related to all the aspects of Covid-19 i.e., awareness, prevention, risk management, infodemics, vaccines and their working principle.
