AI Policy: CSIR-NIScPR Research Journals
The rapid advancements in machine learning, large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and AI-assisted tools have brought several benefits to the research fraternity. However, it is important to use these resources responsibly, maintaining research integrity and ethical standards. Considering the dynamic nature of AI/ML, this policy will be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.
For Authors:
AI must not replace essential scholarly tasks such as critical thinking, interpretation of results, and the development of original arguments or contributions.
AI should not be used to create graphical abstracts, generate or manipulate images, figures, or visual data/infographics.
