Abstract

This research presents a thorough bibliometric analysis spanning 29 years, from 1995 to 2023, of Tezpur University's research output and trends across four academic disciplines: Management Science, Humanities & Social Science, Engineering, and Science. Data is segmented into three periods: 1995–2004, 2005–2014, and 2015–2023, revealing fluctuations in publication numbers, with Science and Engineering emerging as primary contributors. The study highlights diverse growth patterns across disciplines, with Management Science experiencing the most substantial expansion, followed by Engineering. It evaluates research impact through citation quantity and Average Citation Per Paper (ACPP) metrics, alongside a Relative Specialization Index comparing Tezpur University's global and national contributions in each field. The analysis delves into collaborative research practices, demonstrating their prevalence at the university. It identifies influential authors based on publication history and ACPP, emphasizing individual contributions. Furthermore, key research topics are identified, showcasing the university's broad academic strengths. Overall, the research underscores Tezpur University's commitment to knowledge advancement and academic excellence, providing valuable insights for stakeholders to comprehend its research impact and facilitate future collaborations and growth strategies
